Squid-based Products

The following companies sell products based on Squid, although you'd probably never know just looking at their web sites:

MARA Systems AB MARA Systems AB builds and sells several applicance type products based on Squid: CacheMARA - High performance web cache, BorderMARA - Combined web cache and firewall, eMARA - Very flexible reverse proxy solution. In addition they also offer subscriptions to the Cerberian web content filter with full support for Squid.
Swell Technologies Swell's product, called Tsunami, is based on Linux and Squid.
Cobalt Cobalt was acquired by Sun Microsystems. Their current product is called CacheRaq 4. It looks a lot like the CacheRaq 2, which was a Linux box running on a MIPS CPU.
Logisense Logisense calls their product EngageIP. They offer both hardware and software solutions, and a product for Windows NT.
N2H2 N2H2's big thing is filtering web content.
nXp Technologies nXp Technologies' netfilter 4.1 - a company environment-orientated content monitoring and traffic management package - is based upon squid.
iCognito PureSight, iCognito's solution for Internet Content Filtering, allows users to monitor and manage Internet access. Based upon iCognito's leading-edge proprietary Artificial Content Recognition (ACR) technology, PureSight is a highly effective and accurate solution.
NetMAX NetMAX Internet Appliance Software allows users to secure, connect, and share their networks through a variety of customizable features. These business solutions deliver the power and reliability of the Linux operating system, yet dramatically simplify installation, configuration, and management.
Trustix Trustix AS (headquartered in Norway) bases their product on Squid and their Trustix Secure Linux Operating System. They provide Graphical configuration from Windows or Linux and Automated software maintenance (upgrades and patches).
Interhack Interhack's Outsourced IT combined product/service offering includes a network server whose configuration is driven by operational and security needs. Squid is included for both web performance enhancement and effective policy enforcement.
ClarkConnect ClarkConnect is a software package that transforms standard PC hardware into a dedicated broadband gateway and easy-to-use server.
Nettion Nettion is a Linux Appliance Software product. It provides a powerful and user friendly web interface to configure many features on a Linux gateway, like Squid, Firewall(IPTables), VPN(IPSec), Bandwidth Control(HTB), etc.
SnapGear SnapGear's SME575 product uses Squid as one of its components.
Greencomputer Innovation Greencomputer Innovation's PowerElf II product uses squid as one of its software components to route web traffic.
iNODE Connectware iNODE is an integrated solution that offers all the necessary networking infrastructure fulfilling the needs of an organization. Combining in one solution vital networking needs such as interconnection, networking applications, and security.
Kirux Technology Solutions Kirux uses Squid in their Kuadra Enterprise Server product: an all-in-one, productivity software solution for small to medium size businesses. It provides a stable Web presence, enterprise class e-Mail system with antivirus and spam filtering, private Instant Messaging (IM), Virtural Private Network (VPN) services, Corporate Intranet Portal, Intranet Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Web Caching (squid) and Web Content Filtering (squid-guard), Content Management System (CMS), e-Commerce and much more.
Alphasec Alphasec provides information security solutions based on Linux, working with a pool of consultants. One of our products, "Ai1 Business server," is a modular server solution for small and medium companies. It integrates SQUID in its basic configuration.
Endian Firewall Endian Firewall is a "turn-key" linux security distribution that turns every system into a full featured security appliance. It features stateful packet filtering, proxies, antivirus/antispam, content filtering and a VPN module.
iSAK iSAK, the Internet Secure Access Kit is a Savoir-faire Linux network security solution. Cost-effective, flexible, manageable and complete, iSAK allows you to shield your network's Web traffic. Based on Squid and SquidGuard, it is released under GPL license.
SmoothWall SmoothWall Ltd. is proud to use Squid, the world's finest web cache, in their Dynamic Content Analysis web filtering appliances. SmoothWall have been integrating Squid since the hugely popular SmoothWall Express GPL project began in 2000.
Cache+ Linux and Squid based product with WEB Interface. Features: WCCP, MS Active Directory Auth, Radius Auth, Access Control List, URL brolcking, Detail Log Analyzer (with database).
